Murr, Greg
About the Artist
Greg Murr is a visual artist concentrating in drawing, painting, and print media. Responding to local phenomena, Greg examines the discrete systems that make up our surroundings and considers how their structures shape our perceptions, ideas, and behavior. His work has appeared in exhibitions at the Austin Museum of Art and galleries across the United States. His prints at Flatbed Press — including Barrier Island, Mississippi Oxbows Allurium, Slow Arc, and Veil — evoke the layered, shifting landscapes of the American South.
