Teresa Gómez-Martorell was born in Barcelona, Spain. Teresa received her BFA from the Universität de Barcelona and her MFA from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She pursued her printmaking studies at Atelier 17-Contrepoint in Paris and has worked as an instructor and master printer at Flatbed Press. Her prints explore the feminine, the mythological, and the natural world through imagery drawn from European fairy tales, animal symbolism, and female archetypes. Her Flatbed Press editions include Doe Moss, Noblesse, Ombre Guardienne, and Tiene La Loba Cinco Lobitos.
