Katherine is the Co-founder, Director, and Senior Master Printer at Flatbed Center for Contemporary Printmaking, specializing in collaborative intaglio and relief projects with artists like James Surls, Julie Speed, and Trenton Doyle Hancock. She has taught printmaking at Texas State University, St. Edward’s University, and Austin Community College, and leads a biennial workshop at La Romita School of Art in Italy.

Her current artwork fuses printmaking techniques to create layered, historic, and futuristic aerial landscapes, and she was a 2019 artist-in-residence in Niš, Serbia.
